Detecting Wire Fraudsters

Secondly, as an added bonus in this News Brief post, we have a great PDF handout that educates you on how to detect wire fraud in emails. Fraudsters use certain language markers in their wording, and once you know what they are, fraudulent emails may get easier to spot.

Download the handout here. Read it and distribute it to your staff.

As a reminder, Landmark Abstract will ALWAYS send wiring instructions through our Closinglock portal. If you receive anything contrary to this, please contact us IMMEDIATELY at 717-293-9760.

Title commitments are a vital part of what we do here at Landmark Abstract, and we put together a video that explains what they are and what they do. Watch it below.
