Heather Smith, paralegal and compliance officer, works with our in-house legal team and also oversees compliance systems in our Title Insurance Agency Division. In her role as Compliance Officer for Landmark Abstract, Heather is responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. She implements our Company Best Practices through communication and training.
Before joining Landmark Abstract in 2013, Heather spent the previous 16 years as a legal assistant/paralegal with various local law firms. She has a vast knowledge of Pennsylvania laws and regulations.
Heather is a graduate of Lakewood College and received degrees in Paralegal Studies, Mediation, as well as a Certificate in Criminal Justice. Heather is originally from Lancaster and currently, and lives in West Lampeter Township with her husband and two daughters.
