Our employee abstractors are available to promptly fill requests for research and retrieval of legal descriptions, subdivision plans or other items found in the public record. We record documents electronically in every county where it is possible.

Residential


Contract
The agreement of sale is signed by the buyer and seller. The list agent usually collects a deposit escrow check. The contract and title order is sent to the settlement company.
Title Order
The settlement company opens the file, orders the search, and begins the process of obtaining information: taxes, payoffs, HOA fees etc.
Search
Public records are searched including deeds, mortgages, liens, estates etc. Title is examined and the final commitment is prepared.
DocPrep
Legal documents are prepared and reviewed. Lender documents are assembled. Final preparations for the closing are completed.
Final Meeting
The final step: Seller transfers deed to buyer. Documents are signed and buyer receives the keys.
